Lately, I’ve been catching myself in the tiniest yet most significant moments I wouldn’t have noticed before. It’s not always exciting or philosophical or groundbreaking. It’s not always based on a sudden, heavy change in my heart or the heart of the world.
On Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18, the Living Room ventured off site to Crossroads Church to collaborate with Unpolished, a grassroots effort started by entrepreneurs to engage, educate and grow one another’s businesses.

We are so excited to announce the Living Room’s newest coffee provider, La Terza! We spent one morning at their Artisan Coffee Roasterie, learning all there is to know about the craft behind their brand. Led by Master Roaster Roberts Mbabasi, we observed and tasted (of course) all different types roasts and blends in search of a perfect and unique taste that fits our own flavorful and warm feel behind the Living Room.

This is an inevitable feeling we all have gotten at least once. The urge to hit the highway and keep on driving, or the desire to press our faces against an airplane window and watch the ground below slowly vanish into a mesh of clouds and sky.
Putting together a new playlist doesn’t always mean the songs have to be brand new. Some of these I’ve forgotten about, some just introduced themselves to me within the week, and some just introduced themselves to the world as soon as yesterday.

Winter is full of unpredictable days… weeks, even! Whether it’s a change of schedule, delayed flights or working from home, you never know if you’re expected workday is going to completely shift gears at the last minute.
Oakley Wines is a small, modern shop in Cincinnati, OH located in the heart of Oakley Square. There you can find a large hand-picked selection of young wines under $20 from around the world that don’t ask for age to be enjoyed. However, if the higher-end wines are more your style, our buddy and owner Zach Eidson’s got ’em too, right alongside some sparkling wines and local craft beer.
Why infused water? I’ll give you three reasons.
Reason number one. It tastes better.
We all love water (right?), so why not add a natural flavor along with it? Especially if clients are in the building, it’s nice to find something that meets in the middle. Between water and soda, this is perfect for those who aren’t looking for one or another extreme.

On Saturday, November 22nd, Santa came to town a little early for the Living Room as we hosted our first photo shoot with Heather Elizabeth Studios. And it was a blast.
